Do everything for the Lord

1 “Beware of practising your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.
2 “So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honoured by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.

3 “But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

5 “When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.

6 “But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

7 “And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. 8 “So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.

9 “Pray, then, in this way:
‘Our Father who is in heaven,
        Hallowed be Your name.

  10‘Your kingdom come.
        Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.

11‘Give us this day our daily bread.

12‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

13‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.’]

14“For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15“But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions. {Matthew 6}

Keep our Peace at all costs

Keep Our Peace at All Costs.

This means accepting things for what they are, because we cannot change them. Allowing the situations to make us better people. It’s having the “Build a bridge and get over it” mentality. This is also a sign of maturity too. Life is full of ups and downs, and compromises etc.

It also means Let go of what was, and Let go of the things that stress us and rob us of our peace and joy. Getting over things quickly. Let it be “like water off a Ducks back”.

It’s having the Faith and Belief in Jesus that everything will be Okay. We will Get through it. We will be stronger and better people in Christ Jesus as a result if we embrace it and learn from it.

We’re all different in this world, we all have our own beliefs, ideas and so forth in this world. What ever happened to Love and treating others how we want to be treated? Whatever happened to showing respect? A sign of maturity is agreeing to disagree on matters and get on with life while enjoying each others company.

Bsically, we need to stress less, let go of the things we can’t change and accept it. While embracing the things we can change. Above all else, we must keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and not the situations. Jesus is our peace. He’s got this.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Romans 15:33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

Ephesians 2:14 For Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation.
